Executive Director Message

March 2025

Dear Tillotson Families,

It is hard to believe that the third quarter of the school year is quickly coming to a close! Check out the latest happenings at Tillotson and what we have in store for March!

Tillotson is Growing

We are thrilled to be ever-expanding, and are so grateful to everyone who shares a positive message about our school wherever they go! Here are three fun facts about Tillotson to continue to spread the word:

-Transition services at Tillotson are individualized for our students. Our high schoolers have the opportunity to engage in volunteer experiences, school jobs, and/or vocational programming. The soft skills our young adults learn through these activities are critical for developing independence!

-Tillotson has several sports teams! There is flag football in the fall, basketball in the spring, and cheerleading for both seasons! We also have our own bocce team! Our students learn the value of teamwork, physical movement, and having fun – regardless of the final score.

-Tillotson’s got the tech! Our maker space, better known as the Tiger Zone, has all the latest and greatest technology for our students to learn and utilize. From virtual reality to our Glowforge, students take pride in creating unique and personalized designs!

Building Bridges

If you know of any businesses that could use our student volunteers or who would like to come to the school to teach our youth something new, please let us know! We are excited to have a few new partnerships in the works, and will announce them once it’s official!
